Frame and Panel Door

Reinforced concrete, steel;  2005;  22’-7” x 10’-4” x 19”

A monument to a traditional wood door.  A classic door design with transom is squashed to invert its proportions and scaled up for public space.  The pre-cast parts fit together with tabs and slots in a tribute to the mortices and tenons of fine carpentry.
